The lake is owned by the local power company who allow free access to all visitors. There are
many water activities from fishing to jet skiing. Many of the local families use the
lake as their backyard swimming pool. The setting is perfect for your mountain
vacation hideaway. You'll love the 24500 acre Nantahala National Wilderness Forests
that adjoin the property. You can experience the wilderness right from your front
door whilst you and your family plan for the next day's adventure. Stroll around
the grounds in the cool evenings and pick blueberries, strawberries and apples to eat for
breakfast next day. After your evening stroll, relax in your own private hot tub.
